Katsucon 2013 gear.  

When I asked our VIP ninja what he’d like to see worn at Katsu this yr, these 2 were of the 3 he listed. Nekonelle was candle stained….I kept candles in the storage container one summer :< and dragoncon last yr had to ship her home from hotel.

I didn’t know which pic to pic, so some are here, some are on other sites….there’s a few sites and plenty of variety.

BUT I got my share  of shots. Starlightslk took these when able, as did a few others who I have to get back to and can get back to me in time.

have I always been that hippy? or just hipster o.o   either way, I was happy to fit in what I HAVE after so many revolutionary changes, which were STILL in experiment mode that weekend.

Sometimes I get to be the photographer & it’s always a ton of fun for me to be behind the lens when I get the chance! :3

These pictures are bookends of our weekend at Katsucon, the Katastrophia pictures were taken Thursday afternoon/evening & these Hsien-ko pictures were taken Sunday Night.

For Katsucon I did some fixing-up to my L.Raptor cosplay including adding the back panel to the top, adding a zipper to the shorts, I remade the choker & the straps, added new spikes to the boots, and Sephygoth remade my shin guard. I also finally got to get pictures with the guitar that Sephygoth made for me. ♥ 

I’m really happy with how it looks now & I can’t wait to wear it again! ^_^

Katsucon 19 2013 fun times.

In the rare occasions I was active in public (@ 2:41) , a few people must have captured the moment. Starlightslk has longer footage, but it represents the weekend.   . . side story: this was Saturday, and was hard to spin on the wet cement fountain while still having lingering nasty food poisoning/minor dizzy from the pinot grigio I had at the sports bar the night before…many hours with my bucket and bathroom and I still forced my gut to scrunch into this.  yeah, things can pay off if you wish it.

Also had primo company during those out and about times. Katsu staff took good care of us.Every night I wore something out that took 3 hrs to put on. I should limit my stuff from now on, I wore 3 things all weekend alternating. The VIP badges were fantastic, I appreciate it BIG time from the ninjas there, I hope my gear owned up to expectations(as lazy and sloppy as I was this con). Early access to dealer room before norms, Maid cafe walk-in ability and swag(we won a mini raffle with $1), free Tee, the meet and greet with guests, and VIP seating. VIP staff made sure we were treated right and were perfect.

Of all years, this was the best for attendee manners and behavior,especially since the bbyo function wasn’t holding up to that( jewish function/convention who do not represent islam or Jewish people at ALL).

Driving back home we saw ourselves at the same rest area (literally, the Lombardi in NJ turnpike) and could swear we timewarped from before the con to after. This went by too fast for physics.

any pics/vids that people find? lemme know, I’m online hardly nowdays. We had personal photogs, but I like seeing how my stuff pans out on the floor….I was experimenting with makeups and totally new stuff AT con and wanna see how bad it actually turned out.

In my post con dep, I’m gonna work on the item I wanted to finish by katsu and hope for more of these good times again. God this shtick was good.
